Korea's First Cave Theme Park, GwangMyeong Cave

    temp_1703556805710.-813791438.jpeg

    ※ GwangMyeong Cave is!!

GwangMyeong Cave is a heartbreaking site of Japanese colonial era conscription and exploitation, which was developed by the Japanese in 1912 for the purpose of exploiting resources.

In GwangMyeong Cave, there were gold, silver, copper, and zinc, but they are said to have taken them all from Japan to the extent that it is impossible to grasp the amount dug up here.

After being abandoned in 1972, it was used as a salted shrimp warehouse, but Gwangmyeong-si purchased it in 2011 and transformed it into its current form.

It is said to be the best cave theme park in Korea, which attracts more than 1 million tourists a year, and you can see the miracle of the abandoned mine that surprised the world at Gwangmyeong Cave!

It's not that big of a scale, but it is so beautiful.

The Demilitarized Zone is called the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in English. At the time of the ceasefire agreement that stopped the Korean War, South and North Korea decided not to deploy troops 2km each from the armistice line to the South and the North, which is the Demilitarized Zone. DMZ is where it can see North Korea, an unknown country.

In the 1980s, the 86 Asian Games and 88 Olympics, including various international conferences, were held in Seoul, and its name became known worldwide and became a tourist attraction.

Shopping malls selling shoes, clothing, and bags, as well as 2,000 shopping malls such as hotels, lodging facilities, various restaurants, entertainment facilities, and travel agencies, are concentrated in alleys. Antique furniture streets, where more than 100 stores are concentrated in the direction of Bokwang-ro from Hamilton Hotel, are also famous.

In addition, exotic cultures and food experiences are possible at the World Food Street, which is created by a collection of restaurants from more than 40 countries run by foreigners.

Since the late 1990s, the number of tourists from Southeast Asia and the Middle East has increased, transforming from a U.S. military-centered street to a multinational "fusion" street.

    InJe Birch Forest in GangWonDo

It is the most representative place in my GangWonDo.

    KakaoTalk_20220228_104810551_29.jpg

Inje birch is originally a tree that grows only in cold regions and can only be found in mountainous areas in GangWonDo.

Inje birch forest is pretty in all four seasons, but you can feel its value in winter.

    KakaoTalk_20220228_104954298_19.jpg

Currently, 690,000 birch trees are planted in the Inje birch forest, and it is a seven-course walk in the forest.

The birch forest path departing from the birch forest information center varies slightly depending on the course, but it takes about an hour to an hour and a half.
