    CheongWaDae(Blue House) & Homepage for reservation

    CheongWaDae(Blue House) is a facility that was used as an office and official residence for the President of the Republic of Korea.

    As President Yoon Suk Yeol, who took office in 2022, moved his office and residence to the public, it was fully opened to the public. Currently, 'YoungBinGuan' are still used for practical purposes.

    It's a popular place, so there are a lot of people in the Blue House on weekends, so you have to wait in line.

    Seokjojeon with the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Deoksugung Palace.

    Seokjojeon Hall of Deoksugung Palace is a Neoclassical building built at the end of the Korean Empire, and its original purpose was the palace. 

    It was innovative at the time that it followed the neoclassical architecture that was popular in England at the time and that stone, not wood, was the main material for construction, but a year after its completion, the Korean Empire collapsed.

    During Japanese colonial era, it served as an art museum, and in 1936, it built a new museum next to it. This newly built building is the Deoksugung Palace Museum of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.
